FEED for Tiung Biru prepared

Mobil Cepu Ltd (MCL), a unit of ExxonMobil Corp that operates Cepu block, is currently preparing the front end engineering and design (FEED) works for Tiung Biru-Jambaran-Cendana fields.

The FEED preparation is being made following the approval of the POD for the Tiung Biru-Jambaran-Cendana fields, said Anditya MT Ibrahim, VP Management Representative for ExxonMobil at SKK Migas to petromindo.com.

Anditya added the FEED preparation included efforts to acquire necessary land for the construction.

Late last year, PT Pertamina EP and MCL reached an agreement over the unitization of oil and gas reserves at the Tiung Biru and Jambaran fields in the Cepu block, in Central Java.

Tiung Biru field is located within Pertamina EP?s Cepu operations area which is adjacent to the Cepu giant oil and gas block jointly operated by MCL and Pertamina. The Jambaran gas field is located within the Cepu Block, which is operated by MCL.
