FEED works for JAU field to start this year

Upstream authority SKK Migas expects front end engineering design (FEED) works at Jambu Air Utara (JAU) field within the Krueng Mane block in Aceh developed by Italian oil and gas firm ENI SpA to commence this year.

"ENI is intensively preparing FEED for JAU. The tender should start shortly, and if everything goes smoothly which means a re-tender is not necessary, then the FEED works should start within this year as well," said Head of Project Division Rudi Riambodo to Petromindo.com.

Rudi also added that EPC should commence about a year afterward.

SKK Migas has said that gas production from the field is estimated at between 200 mmscfd and 250mmscfd.
