FeNi Haltim opens coal supply tender

PT FeNi Haltim, a subsidiary of IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang (Antam), announced on Friday pre-qualification tender for the supply of coal for a coal-fired power plant.
The company said that the specifications of the required coal are as follows: GCV (Ar) 3,900-4,200 Kcal/Kg, TM (Ar) 40% Max, VM (Ar) 25% Max, VM (Ar) 28-35%, FC (Ar) 28% Min, AC (Ar) 5% Max, TS (Ar) 1% Max, HGI 65, Size +50 mm Max 10% +2~50 mm Min 90% (dominantly 50 mm), and AFT Min 1,200 degrees Celsius.
The 2x35 MW coal-fired power plant will supply electricity for PT FeNi Haltim ferronickel processing plant in Maba District, East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province.
