FID for Banten FSRU expected in late January

PT Energi Dian Kemala expects to be able to complete the final investment decision (FID) for the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Banten in late January.
"The FID is expected to be completed around late January. The FSRU is targeted to come onstream in 2017,? Director of Energi Dian Kemala Joe Bunyamin told Petromindo.com.
Joe added that the planned FSRU is designed to have a total capacity of 1.5 million tons per annum (mtpa).
Global engineering and construction firm Foster Wheeler has been appointed as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the project, he said.
