Finders kicks off ASX listing

London Stock Exchange AIM-listed junior miner Finders Resources announced on Thursday it has been admitted to the Official List of the ASX and has been advised that trading of its securities will begin Friday 8 June 2007.

The company raised A$6 million from the ASX IPO.

Raising will be used to progress Finders? advanced copper and silver-gold projects in Indonesia towards development, the company said.

?The Finders board is focused on rapidly progressing both the Wetar copper and the Ojolali silver-gold projects towards development, while continuing to assess new opportunities in the region - and we look forward to receiving and releasing further results from the ongoing leach testwork at Wetar and the feasibility work and drilling program at Ojolali which will be important steps in finalising the initial development plans for both projects,? the company said.

Finders is the operator of the Wetar Copper in Wetar island, Maluku and Ojolali Gold-Silver Projects in Lampung, Sumatra. (alex)
