ASX-listed Finders Resources Ltd said two key environmental permits dated September 7, 2015 have been awarded by the Governor of Lampung for the Ojolali gold-silver project in the province (Finders 72%).
The AMDAL environmental permit includes an approved Environmental Impact Analysis, Environmental Management Plan and Environmental Monitoring Plan.
The company said in a statement last week that the secondary environmental permit is required before activities in the operation production stage can commence.
The company further said that the Mines Department has continued its evaluation of various documents submitted in support of the application for an Operation Production permit and a number of site visits have been completed.
The company said it expects to receive the completed evaluation before the end of 2015.
The Ojolali Project is an advanced gold-silver prospect in Lampung Province of southern Sumatra covering a 13 sq km system with numerous shoots. Ojolali lies within the highly productive Sumatran Gold Belt, which includes the Martarbe (+3.7 moz), Lebong Donok (1.5 moz), Lebong Tandai (1.3 moz), Pongkor (3 moz), Cibalung (0.4 moz) and Way Linggo deposits (0.25 moz).
The project has a defined oxide gold resource of 175,000 oz at Jambi, high grade drill intercepts at Tambang and strong surface showings of gold and silver along its length suggesting at least 1m oz gold potential.
Throughout the field only a few holes have been drilled to more than100 meters depth, while epithermal systems commonly persist to depths of 500 meters and more, which leaves great opportunities for further discoveries at depth.
