Finders raises funds to finance Indonesian gold, copper project

London Stock Exchange-listed mineral firm Finders Resources Limited announced that it had raised 375,000 pounds to finance its Wetar copper project in Maluku and Ojolali gold-silver project in Lampung province.

Finders said that it is continuing to explore and evaluate both projects, in addition to working towards completion of project studies and financing at Wetar project throughout 2007-8.

Finders is the operator and 72 percent owner of Wetar copper and gold project in Maluku, where both Kali Kuning and Lerokis prospects are located.

Meanwhile, as for Ojolali project, Finders holds a 72 percent with an option for 100 percent stake. This project is believed to contain inferred resources of 320,000 oz Au and 39 million oz Ag, based on over 212 drill holes drilled by previous owners. (denny)
