Firms compete to become Pertamina partner to build E. Java LPG storage

State oil and gas company PT.Pertamina (Persero) said on Thursday that four companies are competing to propose JV to build refrigerated LPG storage in East Java.
“The four companies are BP Plc., SK Corp, Petronas and ConocoPhillips,” Marketing Director Ahmad Faisal told reporters, adding that currently Pertamina is assessing proposals from the four suitors.
He said that the storage to be built would have capacity of 120,000 tonnes.
He said Pertamina is still searching for location of the storage. He did not say when the storage is expected to be completed. (godang)
