First 500,000 ton cold box for Sengkang project erected

ASX-listed Energy World Corporation Ltd announced on Tuesday the erection of the first cold box in Keera, South Sulawesi, which it said is a significant milestone for its Sengkang LNG project.
In a statement filed with the Australian Stock Exchange, the firm also attached the photographs of the erected cold box No.1, the cranes positioned for lifting cold box No.2, and other significant site construction and equipments including the LNG gas processing equipment, 88,000M? LNG tank foundations and assembly of the slipform equipments.
Chairman and Chief Executive Stewart Elliott said completion of the tank foundations involving over 450 thirty meter deep re-enforced piles and the safe lifting into the position of this first LNG cold box weight 230 tons is a magnificent achievement for the Company and the civil engineers and the whole site construction team in PT Slipform Engineering.
