First gas for BW's FPSO Joko Tole

BW Offshore, a floating production services provider, reported that FPSO Joko Tole has received first gas from the Terang, Sirasun and Batur (TSB) fields within Kangean block offshore East Java.
The company said in a statement the final acceptance tests have successfully been completed and the contract period has commenced, under which BW Offshore has a ten-year firm contract with Kangean Energy Indonesia that operates the block, with options for additional four years.
The partners in Kangean Energy and the TSB field are PT Energi Mega Persada (50 percent), Mitsubishi (25 percent) and Japan Petroleum Exploration (25 percent).
Previously, Energi Mega has reported that it had successfully increased the gas production rate from its Kangean PSC block?s TSB fields to 300 mmscfd.
