PT Makmur Sejahtera Wisesa (MSW), a subsidiary of IDX-listed PT Adaro Energy, is finishing construction of its 2x30 MW mine-mouth power plant in Tanjung, South Kalimantan.

By the end of the second quarter of 2013, MSW had commissioned the first 30 MW unit, which was running well and supplying power to PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and Adaro Indonesia (AI).

The completion of commissioning for the second unit is planned for the third quarter of this year, Adaro said in a quarterly report on Wednesday.

Another US$7 million of investment was spent during the second quarter for the plant, bringing total investment to $169 million, MSW added.
