Fit and proper test for BPMIGAS head candidates to be held soon

The House of Representatives? (DPR) Consensus Body has agreed to hold a fit on proper test for the three candidates for head of Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body, BPMIGAS on April 7 and 8, 2008.
The House's Consensus Body (Bamus) said in Jakarta Friday that the fit and property test would be conducted by the House Commission VII which oversees among others energy affairs.
The House Commission VII?s head Hartarto Airlangga said the fit and proper test aimed to select the best candidate to lead BPMIGAS.
The three candidates are R. Priyono, currently Director of Upstream Business Affairs at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Evita H. Legowo, an expert staff at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Hadi Purnomo, the head of the ministry's research and development center Lemigas. (godang)
