Deputy Chairman Hardiono told Petromindo.Com that the bidders are Technip, Worley Parsons, Woodgroup, Inti Karya Persada Teknik and Singgar Doris Enginering Consultant.
Two other participants Klaras Group and Tripatra Engineering withdrew from the tender, he said. He did not say when the contract will be awarded.
He said Pearl will complete technical evaluation next week.
Pearl Energy, a unit of UAE-based investment holding Mubadala Development Company, will develop Ruby field, which will consist of wellhead and production platforms and 300-km pipeline to flow gas to Senipah processing facility and then to Bontang LNG plant.
The field is expected to start production in 2012 with peak gas production of 100MMCFD. Earlier reports said that Pearl, which has 100 percent interest in the block, will invest more than US$300 million to develop the block. (godang)
