Five firms eyeing Dart Energy?s Indonesian assets

Five firms are eyeing to acquire CBM assets in Indonesia that are being offered by Australian company Dart Energy for sale.

?Currently there are three overseas and two local firms that have seriously expressed interest to acquire the assets,? Dart Energy Indonesia Country Manager Unggul Setyatmoko told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday.

He did not give further detail.

Dart is planning to dispose its entire CBM interests in Kalimantan which consists of 100 percent interest in Bontang Bengalon PSC and 24 percent interest in Sangatta West PSC.

Dart is seeking to retain its interest in Sumatra albeit with minimum expenditure and is in the process of finding strategic partners for the assets. The company has 50 percent interest in Muralim PSC and 45 percent in Muara Enim PSC.

Australia-listed Dart Energy plans to dispose non-core assets including in Indonesia to focus its activity in the UK.
