Five gas sale and purchase agreements signed

Five purchase and sale agreements (PSA) were signed on Wednesday by gas producers and consumers including Kodeco Energy, Pertamina EP and Lapindo Brantas Inc, and state gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), PT Petrokimia Gresik and several other industrial buyers.

The five PSA are respectively signed by Kodeco Energy and PT Petrokimia Gresik; PT Pertamina EP and PT Pupuk Kujang; Pertamina and PGN; Lapindo Brantas, Inc and PGN and Pertamina EP and Aneka Gas Industri.

Kodeco will provide Petrokimia a total volume of 5.168 Trillion British Thermal Unit (TBTU) under a one-year contract beginning 2010, while Pertamina EP will provide Pupuk Kujang with total volume of 3.65 TBTU starting 2010 under a two-year contract.

Meanwhile, Pertamina EP will supply PGN a total volume of 1.8 TBTU beginning 2010 under a two-month contract and Lapindo Brantas, Inc will supply PGN a total volume of 5.84 TBTU under a two year contract with beginning 2010.

Pertamina EP will also sell gas to PT Aneka Gas Industri under a six-year contract with total volume of 4.95 TBTU.

Meanwhile, Petrochina International Jabung signed a head of agreement with Jambi provincial administration-owned company PT Jambi Indoguna International for the provision of of 20.07 TBTU for five years beginning 2012. (godang)
