Fluenta?s multiphase meters to Indonesia

Fluenta recently won a contract for the supply of multiphase flow meters. Unocal Indonesia has ordered four multiphase flow meters of the MPFM 1900V1 version.

The multiphase meters will be used for product allocation metering of commingled production streams from platforms in the ?Attaka? field in Indonesia. The meters will be located on four different platforms operated by Unocal.

The multiphase meters are to be supplied as complete turn-key units in skids including a telecommunication/interface package.

Over the last few months, Fluenta has been awarded contracts for more than 20 multiphase flow meters. These orders underline Fluenta?s position in multiphase metering and the increasing interest in implementing multiphase metering for more cost effective field developments, says Managing Director Dr Oyvind Isaksen.

The latest order is strategically very important, as the company will be able to show the potentially huge Indonesian oil and gas market the bottomline benefits of using the leading multiphase meter, Isaksen concludes. (*)
