FMC Technologies receives $720m contract for Jangkrik project

NYSE-listed FMC Technologies, Inc. announced on Thursday that it has received an order from eni Muara Bakau BV to supply subsea systems for its deepwater Jangkrik Complex development offshore Indonesia.
The order has an estimated value of US$720 million in revenue if the full scope of the award is called off, the firm said in a statement.
FMC Technologies' scope of supply includes subsea trees, manifolds, jumpers and connection systems, umbilicals, tooling and associated topside and subsea controls systems.
The Jangkrik field is located in the Muara Bakau working area, in Makassar Straits offshore Kalimantan, Indonesia, approximately 44 miles (70 kilometers) from Balikpapan.
SKK Migas, the Indonesian upstream authority, has kicked off the development of two fields in Muara Bakau PSC, namely Jangkrik and Jangkrik North East. The PSC is operated by Italian firm ENI Spa. The project is worth US$4,136 million.
In a press release on Wednesday, SKK Migas said the construction works of the project is divided into three packages, namely EPCI 1, EPCI 2 and Engineering Procurement 3. The Engineering Procurement 3 contract was awarded to PT FMC Santana Petroleum Equipment Indonesia.
