After having been sentenced to a nine-year jail term for corruption, former director general of electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) Jacob Purwono has been named once again by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a graft suspect in a separate case, Investor Daily reported on Tuesday.

The paper quoted KPK Spokesman Johan Budi as saying that Jacob has been allegedly committed corruption in the supply of solar home system (SHS) at the MEMR for the 2009 budget year.

Jacob is currently serving his jail term for the corruption he made in the supply of SHS for the 2007-2008 budget. (*)
