Four bidders shortlisted for Donggi Senoro EPC

PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) has shortlisted four bidders for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the LNG plant facilities in the Donggi Senoro LNG project, Director for Project Development of Medco E&P Eka Satria said Saturday.

The four candidates are consortium of Inti Karya Persada Teknik and UK company Petrofac Ltd; consortium of PT Adhi Karya and Hyundai; consortium of PT Tripatra Engineering, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk and Samsung Engineering Co. Ltd; and consortium of PT Rekayasa Industri and Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co, Ltd, said Eka.

Eka said the winner of the EPC contractor will be announced in August 2012.

Eka said the operator of the Donggi Senoro project is accelerating the preparation of the project so that it can deliver first LNG to buyers in the fourth quarter 2014.

PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG), the developer of Donggi Senoro LNG project, is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation (51 percent), Pertamina Energy Services Pte. Ltd. (PES) (29 percent) and Medco E&P subsidiary PT Medco LNG Indonesia (MLI) (20 percent). PES is a subsidiary of Indonesia?s state-owned oil and gas company, PT Pertamina (Persero).

Donggi Senoro have secured at least three committed buyers for the LNG from the project, namely Chubu Electric with a volume of 1 million tons per annum, Kogas with a volume of 700,000 tons and Khyusu Electric at 300,000 tons.
