Four coal miners to begin exploration in C. Kalimantan

Four companies which have received the government's permits to open coal mines in North Barito regency, Central Kalimantan will soon begin their exploration activities, Antara news agency reported on Wednesday.

"The four investors are now still conducting their feasibility study," North Barito's regent Achmad Yuliansah said.

The companies include PT Bharinto Ekatama which will operate a coal mine site in East Teweh district and PT Batubara Duaribu Abadi which will operate in Gunung Timang site, he said. (*)
