Four workers killed at Pertamina?s gas field in Subang

Four contractor?s workers died and one seriously injured at Pertamina?s Sukamandi gas field in Subang, West Java on Monday after they entered completion fluid tank.
Pertamina EP Spokesperson M. Harun said that the workers are employees of PT Bukit Apit, a contractor which is hired to carry out acidizing work at SKD-2 gas well. Harun said that the workers entered the tank without using proper safety procedures and get choked by nitrogen.
Pertamina EP an upstream unit of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) was perforating the well to look for possibilities of oil within the well?s layers. (godang)
