The Lampung Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) owned by PT PGN LNG Indonesia, a subsidiary of IDX-listed gas distribution firm PT PGN Tbk. has resumed operation since last month after receiving one cargo of LNG from the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua.

"But, until the end of this year, the FSRU can absorb one cargo only," Head of Corporate Communication Division at PGN Irwan Andri Atmanto told Petromindo.com on Friday.

PGN's Corporate Secretary Heri Yusup said, the LNG ship that carried one cargo of LNG from Tangguh conducted loading and unloading of LNG to FSRU Lampung in early October2015.

"After the regasification process, the gas is supplied to the pipeline of South Sumatra West Java(SSWJ) and subsequently channeled to PGN customers in West Java region," Heri said to Petromindo.com.

However, the two did not disclose the volume of cargo that will be absorbed next year.

FSRU Lampung ceased operations in February of this year.
