Hong Kong-listed G-Resources Group Limited recently reported the completion of extension drilling at the Uluala Hulu deposit, 4 kilometres north of the Martabe plant site.
This drilling intersected 25-40m wide zones of gold and silver mineralised, siliceous and advanced argillic alteration in 2 holes. Significant intersections from this drilling include APSD1234: 43.3m @ 2.6 g/t Au, 15 g/t Ag from 42.0m depth, APSD1225: 27.0m @ 1.1 g/t Au, 3 g/t Ag from 127.0m depth, APSD1225: 11.5m @ 1.4 g/t Au, 5 g/t Ag from 169.5m depth.
Drilling commenced at the main Purnama deposit targeting resource extension and upgrade of portions of the Inferred Category of the Purnama Mineral Resource Estimate.
Twinned holes within the Purnama deposit for metallurgical test work confirm previous high grade drill intersections of sulphide mineralisation, such as: 49m @ 13.7 g/t Au and 43m @ 2.6 g/t Au (these being the recent results of two twinned holes, and not representing newly discovered mineralisation)
Exploration continues on the 1,639km2 Contract of Work (CoW) with 12 drill holes completed at the Golf Mike Prospect, 4 holes completed at the Southern Corridor Prospect, and major exploration programs underway at the Tango Papa and Pahae prospects.
All prospects are targeted for near surface, epithermal gold-silver and buried porphyry copper-gold deposits.
