G-Resources executive director tenders resignation

HK-listed G-Resources Group Limited announced Thursday that Owen L Hegarty has tendered his resignation as executive director and vice-chairman of the company with effect from March 24, 2016.

The company said in a statement that Hegarty wishes to devote more time to pursue his other business engagements.

?Hegarty has confirmed that he has no claim against the company in respect of fees or in respect of compensation for loss of office and there is no disagreement between him and the board. Save as disclosed above, there is no matter relating to Hegarty?s resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company,? G-Resources said.

G-Resources operates the Martabe gold and silver mine in North Sumatra.
