Gas allocated for two fertilizer firms

The government has decided to allocate 2x85 mmscfd of gas from the Jambaran, Cendana and Tiung Biru gas fields operated by PT Pertamina EP Cepu for fertilizer firms East Java-based PT Petrokimia Gresik and West Java-based PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek.
In a February 22 letter to the upstream authority SKK Migas, a copy of which was obtained by Petromindo.com Wednesday, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik asked SKK Migas and PT Pertamina EP Cepu to coordinate with the two fertilizer firms as the would-be gas buyers to quickly settle commercial agreement after the plan of development for the gas fields have been approved.
