Gas allocation for 5 fertilizer plants approved

Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik said his ministry has allocated gas supply for 5 fertilizer production facilities, be it new or expansion from existing ones.
"We have approved the gas allocation for 5 factories located in East Kalimantan, Aceh, South Sumatra, West Java and Gresik," Jero told reporters in Jakarta.
Popi Ahmad Nafis, Head of Gas Commercialization Division, said PT Petrokimia Gresik and PT Pupuk Kujang C will each get an additional gas supply of 85 mmscfd.
Popi added that supply for PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) 1-5 meanwhile totaled 400 mmscfd.
