Gas for domestic higher than for export

SK MIGAS has reported that gas distribution for domestic market this year would reach 3.615 bbtud, from 3.267 bbtud last year.
In a statement, SK MIGAS said that over the past 8 months, gas supply for domestic market has risen by more than 250 percent. The figure would continue to rise in years to come, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik said.
?Next year, domestic gas supply would reach 4,020 bbtud, more than the 3.870 bbtud planned to be exported. We will continue to facilitate gas distribution in domestic market,? added Jero.
The 2013?s domestic supply estimate has factored in a new contract of 677 bcf, mostly from industries with 414 bcf.
