Gas output at ONWJ block exceeds target

Gas production at the Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) block, which is operated by PT PHE ONWJ, a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), in the second quarter of this year exceeded target, according to a top official of the firm.
"As of May 31, 2016, the production of gas from ONWJ reached 172.5 mmscfd. It means 105 percent of the 165 mmscfd target set in the revised Work Program and Budget (WP&B) of this year," Executive Vice President/General Manager of PHE ONWJ Irwansyah told Petromindo.com.
However, Irwansyah said that oil production of the block reached only 37,100 bopd, slightly lower than the target of 37,300 bopd.
He added that there is no drilling activity in ONWJ block this year.
