Gas pipeline network in Subang starts operation: Pertagas

Gas distribution company PT Pertagas Niaga, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has since March 22 started operating the city gas pipeline network in Subang, West Java, which is expected to gradually serve a total of 4,000 households in the region.
This was said by President Director of Pertagas Niaga Linda Sunarti on Monday.
The government assigned Pertamina through Pertagas Niaga to develop and operate the Subang gas pipeline network in a project funded by the state budget to help accelerate the fuel oil to gas conversion program.
Linda said that Subang is the second regency in West Java after Bekasi getting gas supply from Pertamina. The Subang gas pipeline network receives 0.2 mmscfd of gas supply from PT Pertamina EP?s Subang field.
The operation of the Subang city gas network has increased the number of households receiving gas supply from Pertamina to 87,614 scattered in 12 cities and regencies.
