Gas producers sign $2.3b domestic supply deals

Gas producers on Monday signed US$2.3 billion supply deals to domestic consumers, which included power plants, fertilizer plant and gas distributor.

Also signed was LPG offtake deal between PetroChina Jabung and state oil, gas firm Pertamina.

Outgoing BPMIGAS Chairman Kardaya Warnika said that in the past five years some 13.33 TF gas supply deals for domestic users had been signed and currently domestic users had absorbed 48 percent of national gas production. (godang)
