Gas producers told to provide full support to fuel conversion campaign

SKK Migas Chairman Rudi Rubiandini is urging gas producers to fully support gas-for-transportation campaign by ensuring more supply for the project.

Rudi told petromindo.com that only by ensuring supply for it the gas-for-transportation project development could be accelerated. ?They have to help. More and more producers are willing (to support). As an example is PT Medco E&P Indonesia,? Rudi said.

Last April, Medco is one of seven gas producers that signed an agreement with regional government on the supply of gas for this project. The remaining firms are PT Pertamina EP, PHE ONWJ, PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, JOB Pertamina-Talisman, PHE WMO and Santos.
