Gas supply to Petrokimia Gresik resumes

Stated owned fertilizer company PT Petrokimia Gresik (Petrogres) is getting gas supplies again after suspending operation for more than a month due to stoppage of gas supplies, Kompas reported Tuesday.
State-owned gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara's (PGN) gas distribution unit general manager for East Java Trijono said that PGN has been supplying 15 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFD)to Petrogres since Monday noon.
?The gas is coming from Wunut field through the East Java Gas Pipeline. But this is only enough for running the power generator. The company has still to wait for gas supplies from Kodeco and PLN (state electricity firm) to re-start production,? Trijono said.
Petrogres needs a minimum of 49 MMCFD in order to resume production. (*)
