GE, Triveni team up to sell new steam turbine

GE Triveni Limited (GETL), a joint venture between GE Oil & Gas and Triveni Turbines Limited, is launching a new steam turbine with an installed capacity of between 30 MW and 100 MW for Indonesia?s power plant sector.

Account Director GE Oil & Gas Hendra Lesmana said during the launch ceremony Wednesday that GETL will use the technology of GE Oil & Gas and engine design from GE Nuovo Pignone to produce the steam turbine by using the best manufacturing facility in India.

Currently more than 900 units of GETL steam turbine with "R" model, which is the reflection of the sophisticated Nuovo Pignone reaction technology (SC/SAC series), have been installed all over the world.
