Genting completes drilling in Rajawali-IX well, proceeds to DST

Genting Oil has completed drilling at the Rajawali-IX well within the Kasuri block in Papua, said Muliawan, Deputy for Operational Control at upstream SKK Migas authority, said.

Muliawan told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the status of the well is currently in preparation for drill steam test (DST). He added that drilling at the Merah-IX well is currently in progress, at a depth of 4,526 meters.

Meanwhile, Head of Exploration at SKK Migas, Nugrahani said that the DST at the Rajawali well is scheduled for mid May, waiting for the arrival of the rig facility. ?Rajawali and Merah (wells) will become gas producer. The DST (is scheduled for) mid May, waiting for the rig.?
