Genting completes DST at Merah-IX well in Papua

The drill steam test (DST) at the Merah-IX exploration well within the Kasuri Block in Papua has resulted in gas rate of 20.8 mmscfd and condensate of 170 stb,

 

The Merah-IX well is part of the three wells within the Kasuri Block being drilled by operator Genting Oil this year.

 

Head of Exploration Division at upstream authority SKK Migas, Nugrahani told Petromindo.com Tuesday that there would be two additional DSTs at the block, both of which expected to be completed in July.
