Genting plans to allocate gas from Kasuri block for local industries

Upstream authority SKK Migas supports the discourse launched by Genting Oil to allocate gas from the Kasuri block for industries and fertilizer firm in Papua.

 

?SKK Migas supports the discourse on the commercialization of gas from the Kasuri block by Genting Oil to allocate gas for industries and fertilizer firm in Papua,? SKK Migas Public Relations Chief Elan Biantoro told Petromnido.com Tuesday. He added, however, that Genting Oil has yet to submit the plan of development (PoD) for the block.

 

Elan said that although it is still at the discourse stage, Genting Oil is seen to be supporting efforts to develop the industries in Papua. ?We heard that Genting Oil will not join hands with the Tangguh refinery (in Papua) for the gas commercialization.?
