Genting retesting Kido-1x well

Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd. (GOPKL), a subsidiary of Malaysian oil and gas company Genting Oil Berhard, has just started retesting the Kido-1x well within the Kasuri block, West Papua.
?We are retesting Kido-1x well in order to obtain an optimum result,? the company?s General Manager Nara Nilandaroe told Petromindo.com.
Meanwhile, the test result of Asap-4x well has been completed, he said.
Genting has discovered gas through drilling of Asap-1X, Asap-2X, Asap-3X and Asap-4X wells. According to Nara, the Asap-4X well also contains oil.
The company has also drilled Kido-1X well, which has reached total depth of 5,386 meter, the deepest onshore well in Indonesia thus far. Last year, Nara said through this portal that the well has an indication of oil and gas.
