Genting seeks to expand Indonesian exploration portfolio

Malaysian oil firm Genting Energy is looking to expand its Indonesian portfolio through acquisition of new exploration blocks.
The company's Indonesian official Nara Nilandaroe told Petromindo.Com earlier this week that the company might carry out joint studies on potential blocks this year teaming up with prestigious university Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
"We are scouting for exploration potential all over Indonesia,"Nara, General Manager Kasuri block onshore West Papua, where the company has been successful in discovering gas of around 6 TCF.
