Genting to spud Asap-4X well in Kasuri block Sept 6

Malaysian oil, gas firm Genting Oil is scheduled to spud the Asap-4X well in the Kasuri block in Papua, according to Arief Fanshuri, Head of Survey and Drilling Division at upstream authority SKK Migas.

?We have received information that (the company) is waiting for the arrival of additional equipment for the rig to proceed with the drilling,? he told Petromindo.com Thursday.

Meanwhile, a source said that drill steam test at Rajawali-IX well in Kasuri block shows indication of dry well.
