Geo Dipa set to start pre-exploration in two geothermal areas

State-owned PT Geodipa Energi is set to start pre-exploration activity at two geothermal working areas assigned by the government including the Telomoyo geothermal area in Central Java and the Ardjuna geothermal area in East Java.
?We?ll start pre-exploration activity including geology, geochemistry and geophysics studies at two geothermal working areas assigned by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to be developed,? Geodipa President Director Riki F. Ibrahim told Petromindo.com on Thursday.
He added that the company is ready to be assigned for more geothermal areas by the government. ?It depends on the government both in terms of potential and the number of geothermal area, but I really hope it would high enthalpy reservoir system,? he said.
