Geo Dipa to drill 3 slim holes at Candradimuka end-2017

State-owned PT Geodipa Energi will drill three slim holes at Candradimuka geothermal prospect up to 1,500 meters depth at the end of 2017, according to a top of the firm.

"God Willing, (the drilling will be conducted) at the end of this year. I am currently completing the (required) permits and land," President Director of Geodipa Riki F. Ibrahim told Petromindo.com.

Riki said earlier that the exploration drilling of three slim holes is aimed at determining the proven reserves of the prospect. According to him, if exploration drilling program which is scheduled for this year runs well, the feasibility study can be completed in 2018. Candradimuka is one of the prospects at Dieng Geothermal Working Area in Central Java. Candradimuka prospect is estatimed to have 54.5 MWe resources.
