Geo Energy announces re-designation of director

SGX-listed Geo Energy, an integrated Indonesian coal mining group, announced Wednesday that James Beeland Rogers Jr, the Non-Executive Director of the company, has been redesignated as an Independent Director of the company with effect from March 8, 2016.
Following the above change, the composition of the company?s Board is as follows:

Tung Kum Hon Chief Executive Officer
Dhamma Surya Executive Director
Huang She Thong Executive Director
Soh Chun Bin Lead Independent Director
Ong Beng Chye Independent Director

James Beeland Rogers Jr Independent Director
Geo Energy owns PT Bumi Enggang Khatulistiwa (BEK), which owns a 4,570 hectare coal concession in Kutai Barat, East Kalimantan, and subsidiary companies that are responsible for mining, as well as heavy equipment and machinery procurement and rental.
Another subsidiary called PT Sungai Danau Jaya (SDJ) holds a coal mining permit, giving it the exclusive right to mine, process and sell coal from concession area located at the Sub-District of Angsana and Sungai Loban, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan.
