Geology Agency, Pertamina sign MoU

The Geology Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday signed a MoU with state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina for cooperation in upstream oil and gas development.

Tribunjabar.co.id said that the cooperation includes research and development, exploration, use of primary and secondary potential data, use of survey equipment, mapping of oil and gas resources, and human resources development.

The portal quoted Public Relations Head of the Geology Agency, Johan B. Winarto as saying that the agency is determined to push for oil and gas research to produce data base that can used be in making oil and gas working area recommendation in Indonesia. (*)
