George Tahija retires from Arc Exploration?s board

ASX-listed Arc Exploration Limited (ARX) announced on Thursday that due to the recent listing of Austindo Nusantara Jaya and his increasing time commitment, George S. Tahija will be retiring from the Board of ARX at the conclusion of the company?s Annual General Meeting on May 22.
Tahija has agreed to remain as an advisor to the Board as may be required from time to time. Tahija has been a director of ARX since 1998.
The Chairman of ARX, Bruce Watson commented, ?George Tahija has made an immense contribution to our company over a very long period including as Chairman. His extensive business knowledge and deep insights into Indonesia have been invaluable over the years. His wise counsel has been much appreciated and we are grateful that Mr. Tahija will continue to act as an advisor to the Board. The Board thanks Mr Tahija for his contribution and wishes him well for the future.?
The company has two Indonesian projects. Trenggalek, in East Java, the subject of this announcement, and a Strategic Alliance with the Anglo American group in Papua.
