The Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap (Getaci) toll road project has secured a Project Development Facility (PDF) from the Finance Ministry to support project preparation and tendering, according to the Public Works Ministry.
Ni Komang Rasminiati, Acting Director General of Infrastructure Financing at the Public Works Ministry, said the facility will fund the preparation of project documents and support the project through the procurement process.
"The Getaci project has received assistance in the form of a Project Development Facility from the Finance Ministry," Komang told a press conference on Friday.
Under the scheme, the Finance Ministry will appoint a state-owned enterprise under its supervision to assist in preparing project documentation and supporting the project until the tender stage.

Komang said the process is expected to take around two years. During that period, the Public Works Ministry will update and review the project's feasibility study and complete readiness requirements, including environmental impact assessments and environmental permits.
The PDF is a facility provided by the Finance Ministry to support public-private partnership (PPP) projects by financing the preparation of final pre-feasibility studies, tender documents and transaction advisory services through to financial close.
The Getaci toll road is one of Indonesia's largest planned toll road projects, connecting Gedebage in West Java with Tasikmalaya and Cilacap in Central Java.
