Getra Kaltim Sejahtera to build coal terminal

PT Getra and Perusda Bara Kaltim Sejahtera, which is owned by East Kaliamantan provincial administration,  through a joint venture firm PT Getra Kaltim Sejahtera will build a coal terminal that covers an area of some 200 hectares of land in Marangkayu, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan , Kaltim Post reported Friday.

 

Perusda Bara Kaltim Sejahtera’s supervision head Sjachruddin said in Samarinda Thursday that the company had obtained a license for the construction of the coal terminal with a capacity of between 20 and 30 million tons per year.

 

“We have completed the required document and the provincial administration will speed up the cooperation process so that the project can be realized soon,” he said. (*)
