?The railroad project which will connect three regencies ? will be completed in 2002,? said Tabalong Regent Noor Aidi.

The railroad, which would also help improve coal transportation in the areas, will link Tabalong-Pasir-Basel regencies which are often called the golden triangle in the Kalimantan region.

The paper also quoted Noor as saying that the three regent administrations would form a joint venture with private investors to develop the mega project.

He said that the three regent administrations would issue a joint decree for the project to ensure legal and security certainty.
