Global Geo Services to begin offshore East Java seismic survey

Norway-based Global Geo Services ASA (GGS) said Tuesday it would commence the 4,500 kilometers East Java Super Tie seismic survey located offshore East Java end of this month.

GGS said in a statement that it would use the M/V Veritas Searcher on that survey.

The 2D vessel, which is owned by Veritas DGC Inc, is capable to meet the challenging targets of the East Java Sea well tie program, which range from deep water long offset techniques to shallower targets requiring higher frequency data, according to the statement.(Robert)
