Glow to import up to 850kt of Indonesian coal this year

Thai-Based firm Glow Group will import 800-850,000 tonnes of coal this year, relatively unchanged compared to last year?s import of 800,000 tonnes.
VP-Coal and Biomass Management CB Tong said that the import would be used to fuel its 300-MW coal-fired power plant in Rayong province. Tong said the company?s entire coal requirement is imported from Indonesia under long-term contracts.
He said the company is not interested to acquire coal mining company in Indonesia. (denny)
