Godang Tua looking for foreign partner

PT Godang Tua Jaya, a waste management firm that manages Bantar Gebang waste landfill in Bekasi, said it is seeking for a partner to provide the technology for its planned biomass power plant near the landfill.

?We are currently in the selection process. All of them are foreign companies as we try to have the best technology available for the Bantar Gebang power plant,? Director Douglas J Manurung said as reported by Kontan.

Godang Tua Jaya is carrying out the project together with state owned PT Pertamina. The power plant capacity could be a large as 120 MW. (*)
